Reply with quote | #1 | I use the oxy peroxide cleaner for most of my general cleaning and have had great successs with the stuff. I tried it on the glass of shower enclosures and it removed the soap scum and mold like a champ, but did not remove somthing on the glass that looked like tiny jigsaw puzzle pieces. I then tried a non-green product (windex) and that didn't remove it either. I am assuming this must be some type of mineral deposit. Anyone know what this stuff is and what I can use to get rid of it. I ended up using a standard product that did the job but I almost passed out from the fumes.
Thanks, |

Reply with quote | #2 | Vinegar. Any acid will work, but vinegar is probably the least toxic. Alternate application of vinegar with the peroxide cleaner. Scum is built up layers of organic material (soap, skin, fungus) which the peroxide detergent will remove and calcium and other mineral soluble in vinegar. |
