Reply with quote | #2 | I'm somewhat biased because I wrote the article, but I think the entire Jan-San industry needs to be very careful about potential greenwashing charges undermining all of the progress that has been made.
As more and more suppliers continue losing market share because they are not yet going green, the pressure creates a desire for a quick short-cut like making a false or misleading environmental claim.
Keep your eyes open for greenwashing. It can hurt all of us. __________________ Scot Case

Enjoyed the article and found it interesting. Thank you for bringing to light what we also find in the service end of the industry. Claims to be cleaning green seems to be pervasive in our industry.....however, upon closer inspection a customer can find their janitorial services provider falls far short of a truly green program. Green goes beyond simple chemicals, and the more the customer is educated the better for us all! __________________
